Online shopping is one of my biggest weaknesses, and I’m always looking for new ways to get my fix (pun intended). After seeing Stitch Fix appear on some of my favorite blogs I decided I needed to try it out.
Stitch Fix is a personal styling service that sends subscribers clothing and assessories based on a style profile you fill out upon signing up. You can set up monthly fixes or schedule random fixes whenever you like. Based on the profile you fill out which includes your sizes along with your personal style preferences, the stylists choose 5 items to send you. Upon arrival, you can try them out, and then keep (and pay for) what you love and send the rest back in a pre-paid shipping envelope. Every time you schedule a Fix you must pay a $20 ‘styling fee’, but that can be put towards anything you end up buying.
I’ve now had two Fixes, and have received items in each that I loved!
In the first, I ended up keeping this black top with a studded neckline and sheer sleeves; perfect for a night out paired with skinny jeans and heels.
I made sure to give detailed feedback on what I didn’t like about the other pieces and felt that my second Fix was even better customized for me. I ended up keeping this wrap bracelet as well as this floral top.
What I like most about Stitch Fix are the personalized touches that accompany each piece. Attached to the tag is a card with multiple outfit ideas for how to wear the piece along with a description and added details.
While I’ve loved getting my first few Stitch Fixes, they aren’t cheap, so I plan on saving them for special occasions throughout the year. They are however, a great way to add some unique pieces you your wardrobe.
